A non-profit organization to raise funds to improve interstate safety for all who travel here.
ABOUT
OUR MISSION
We are a concerned group from Park City, Utah that is working for the increased protection of wildlife and our citizens in the area. There is a nine mile stretch of Interstate 80 (Snyderville Gap) that desperately needs animal migration corridors. We are urging UDOT to install wildlife fencing AND bridges to allow animals to safely migrate and thrive and to make travelling our highways safer for drivers.
We are dedicated to raising awareness and educating Park City residents to respect wildlife and give them the tools they need to coexist with the nature around them.
Raise funds and community awareness to urge UDOT to prioritize funding and construction of wildlife fencing and bridges as quickly as possible.
OUR GOAL
OUR IMMEDIATE GOALS
1. Raise $50,000 for wildlife fencing (UDOT will match this with $50k).
2. Have UDOT replace the existing right of way fencing with wildlife fencing.
3. Continue to work with UDOT for the ultimate goal of at least one wildlife bridge across I-80 to facilitate animal migrations.
4. Set a timeline for planning, fundraising, implementation of wildlife bridge(s) and corridors so wildlife and people can coexist.
Please donate today and help us achieve our goals as quickly as possible
